Quality & Testing

At HelloPharmacist, quality isn't a marketing line — it's the whole point. We built this brand around a simple belief: you deserve to know exactly what's in the products you put on your skin and in your body, where it came from, and how it was verified. This page is our open book. Here's how we hold the line on purity, potency, and honesty at every step.

How We Source Our Ingredients

We start with the raw material, because everything downstream depends on it. We work with suppliers who can document what they send us, and we favor high-purity actives and clean, well-characterized base ingredients over cheaper, murkier alternatives. When an ingredient has a recognized specialty source — like the New Zealand grass-fed, freeze-dried bovine thyroid in our Raw Desiccated Bovine Thyroid — we choose it deliberately and say so plainly on the label.

What "USP" and "Pharmaceutical Grade" Mean

These aren't decorative words. USP refers to the United States Pharmacopeia, which sets published standards for identity, strength, and purity. Pharmaceutical grade means an ingredient meets a high specification for purity rather than a looser food- or technical-grade bar. We use these grades where they matter most — for example, our DMSO 99.995% USP-grade and our Micronized Progesterone Powder USP. When we call something USP or pharmaceutical grade, it's because the material is specified and sourced to meet that standard, not because it sounds impressive.

Third-Party Lab Testing & Purity Verification

We don't ask you to take our word for it. Our commitment to lab-tested, third-party verified purity means an independent set of eyes checks what our own process tells us. Verification helps us confirm:

  • Identity — the ingredient is what it claims to be.
  • Purity — it's free of the contaminants and adulterants that plague low-transparency supply chains.
  • Potency — the active is present at the strength stated on the label, so a max-strength formula like Bi-EST PRO 7.0 is exactly that.

Small-Batch Manufacturing in the USA

Everything we make is produced in the USA in small batches. Small-batch isn't a slower way of doing things by accident — it's a choice that keeps us close to every step. Smaller runs mean tighter oversight, fresher product, and the ability to catch anything that looks off before it ever reaches you. From our Nanoemulsified Estradiol Serum to our Pure Tricaprin (C10) Softgels, the same careful, hands-on approach applies.

Transparent Labeling

If it's in the bottle, it's on the label. We believe transparent labeling is the most basic form of respect we can offer, so we tell you the active, the strength, and the intended use in language you can actually parse. Our women's hormone-balance creams and serums are clearly labeled for cosmetic use, and our focus, energy, metabolic, and thyroid products are presented as general-wellness supplements — no blurred lines, no wishful framing.

What We Refuse to Do

  • No mystery fillers. We don't pad formulas with undisclosed bulking agents or vague "proprietary blends" that hide what you're really getting.
  • No inflated claims. We won't promise a product does something it doesn't, and we won't dress up a cosmetic or a supplement as something it isn't.
  • No corner-cutting on grade. Where a USP or pharmaceutical-grade material is called for, that's what we use.
  • No hiding. Questions about sourcing or testing? Email hello@hellopharmacist.com — a real person will answer.

A Note on Intended Use

Our hormone-balance creams and serums are intended for cosmetic use only and are not hormone replacement therapy, medicine, or a treatment for any condition. Our supplements are intended to support general wellness and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
